Perma-Hand suture is a nonabsorbable sterile surgical suture composed of organic protein material. It is manufactured through a specialized process that removes natural waxes and gums, resulting in a cleaner and more consistent product. This suture is coated with a unique wax mixture that enhances its handling characteristics. 

The suture features a reverse cutting needle coded C-3, which provides enhanced cutting efficiency and tissue penetration. The needle's shape and cutting edge design are optimized to minimize tissue trauma while ensuring secure placement of sutures. The size 4-0 suture is suitable for delicate soft tissue approximation where nonabsorbable support is necessary for prolonged periods.
